So, it turns out that little Neville Longbottom is in need of a godfather and godmother. Someone to teach him how to be strong and smart and work hard who is way cooler than his parents. (I'm sure as soon as he realises that we're his parents and not just "those random people who feed and hold me and change my nappies," he will immediately think we are supremely uncool.) And the two of you seem like prime options for such a position.
(No, Moody, this doesn't mean you have to change nappies. More like teach him to ride a broomstick and take him on camping trips.)

Frank, it seems, has already delivered the good news, but since I'm up and around and restless now, I figured I may as well say something as well. I'm taking Neville and myself out of the Healing Room so Lily (and Neville, really) can have some peace while she delivers, so if you want to stop by and meet the newest member of the Order, you're free to. Quietly. In small numbers.
He is very tiny and very perfect, if I do say so myself, and right now, he's sleeping, quite unaware that his future best friend/wife (I'm sure) is being born downstairs.

So does anyone know what that WWN announcement is about? Apparently our purist friends have taken it upon themselves to care for Britain's soon-to-be mothers. Obviously, I'm not going in, and neither is Lily (Lily, if you are so stupid as to think of doing so, I know how to tie people down effectively), but I'm more curious as to what the impetus for this is. Perhaps this is their way of uncovering Muggleborns or Squibs before they are even born? Or they need children to fill their new orphanage.

Suffice to say that, after Avery's attempt to lure me into the Ministry of Magic to make accusations, I'm worried right now. Maybe I'm arrogant to feel that this is personal, but then, there are only so many high-profile pregnant 'terrorists' out there.

My contact at what used to be the Prophet has told me that Gaius Travers asked him to be involved in a new publication, the details of which are still fuzzy, but Marius Lestrange, Amycus Carrow, and Ferdinand Gibbon, all confirmed Death Eaters, are already involved. I can't think that this is a good thing, but I think we may have a new target to burn down soon.
